BRIDGEWATER - A Brokaw Court resident received a call from someone claiming to be her niece on August 13. The caller requested she send $3,000 for bail money for a DWI arrest. The woman sent the money to Canada to help her niece. Then she called her niece’s mother to inquire about her well being, and learned she’d been defrauded.
