Samsung mass producing 8GB DDR3 modules for notebooks, mobile workstations

Samsung Electronics has announced it already began mass production of an 8GB So-DIMM, or unbuffered DIMM (UDIMM), for notebooks and mobile workstations. The module is based on the company's 4Gb, 40nm-class DDR3 chips.
