OSAKA (Kyodo) The Sanyo Electric Co. brand will be terminated in principle in April 2012 after the company becomes a wholly owned subsidiary of Panasonic Corp. next April, sources said Saturday. Under Panasonic's business reorganization plan, it will also stop making less-competitive Sanyo products after its acquisition of the Osaka-based electronics firm, the sources said.
